It all started when a Duchess was in Norway visiting....A typical royal meets rugged outdoor’s man and falls in love. She was able to convince him to move back to LA with him and get married. A year later, along comes baby into this perfect life that had been setup by the mother’s wealth. .. It could have been the perfect life with all anyone could want at their fingertips… However, five years later the parents split leaving the kid in the care of nannies.

The mother wanting nothing to do with the son that reminder her so much of the man who walked out of her life… She was never home and when he career started to dry up, the kid become an expense she did not want nor did it suit her needs anymore. At this point, Lucan was eleven and wa¬s shipped off on a single engine plane on a flight plan to Norway. On the way up there, the pilot feeling bad for the kid, started to teach him how to fly the plane which cheered Lucan up and allowed for the flight to pass by.

In the final fourth of the flight, the pilot had a stroke and the plane was soon in Lucan’s control. HE managed to find a lake and point the plane towards it thinking it would be a softer landing as that was the one thing he didn’t know how to do. Not that he could fly that well… The plane hit the water and it took him a few moments to escape the wreckage but not before grabbing the bag that was at his feet.

About half an hour later, Lucan had passed out on the shoreline and was just starting to come back around. The bag he had carried a few survival supplies. A knife, fishing line, a few hooks, an hatchet, a couple packs of mre’s, a sewing kit as well as little first aid kit. Then there was the broken, tracking device that had been crushed… Taking what he learned from watching nature and survival shows, he started to work on a way to get through until help showed.

Even though there had been a search party lunched but they didn’t know where to look. As the plane went off the scheduled path and the thick wilderness made it hard for them to look. It would be almost four years later while tracking a deer, Lucan stumbled across a cabin almost five miles from his home. As he was looking around the cabin, a researcher had come back from his studies and found Kody.

After a month, the researcher went home with Lucan in tow. With his father gone, having passing away from an accident at work, Lucan’s mother wanted nothing to do with the fifteen year old. Gave him a trust fund and money to live on, told him to get his own place and not to bother her. Lucan took the money and left the states…

It was a struggle to move one from being in the wilderness and living in the social world again. Everything was so fast paced and loud… He managed to land a job as a firefighter by lying about his age and started to work to support himself, not wanting anything to do with his mother’s money unless he had no choice. He always started to go back to school and studying at home to gain the ground his lost over those four years.

It was during that time, that he fell in love with his partner at the station and became someone he could lean on and confined in. His partner, Ryo became the rock in his life. They moved in together a few years later and were looking towards the future as Lucan was getting ready to start college. But thing again things would change… A late night call at the station and a large apartment high-rise would bring forth that massive change… Lucan and Ryo were searching on the middle floors and about to head out with two people that found, when the building started to come down around them. When things settled , they were lucky enough to have a pocket of space around them. Not much but enough for them to be able to move a bit. As they were gathering themselves up, Ryo was suffering from internal injuries and a gash on his head. There was nothing they could do by pray for help to come fast. The two victims were in decent shape besides being banged up… Lucan’s knee and part of his leg had been crushed by the debris besides not being banged up.

Help came hours later… too late. Ryo had passed away in Lucan’s arms and he was struggling were his own injuries when the top layer of debris broke away and gave away to work lighting…

Months later, Lucan had left job and the life he knew. He started to write under a false name and ended up getting picked up by an acting agency. He soon rose to fame in both areas but his life seemed empty even though he was usually bugged by his agent and forced to be around people
