It was a nice night, the light spring shower ended about an hour ago leaving that rain scented air to fill the night. The clouds had were moving out to leave a trail of stars in their wake. There was a gentle breeze that came through now and then which rustled the leaves of the trees. The criminology teacher had just finished up his last class for the night. Still being new to the university and area, he figured he would take a walk around the university grounds and try to get a little familiar where things were and what was what. At this hour all classes but the clubs were done for the evening. His silver blue eyes glanced down at this watch, it was just barely pass six o’clock. Not too bad of a time for a walk.
The silver fox was wearing a dark gray vest over a white button up shirt and a pair of black slacks. This was normal wear for him. It was comfortable to wear for long hours and nothing that made him too serious. For the teacher, it was still strange to being doing this job even though he had been at it for a little over two years now. At times it was too quiet and laid back for him but his knew his days doing his previous job were long gone. His mind could no longer handle what he had put it through. Even though he had a few physical scars, most of scars were mental. Though he could be glad that he was one of the few cops who danced with the devil managed to come out alive.
After walking around the grounds, he found a bench underneath one of the trees and sat down. He looked up at the sky trying to identify some of the star patterns. Giving up, he reached into the messenger bag, he pulled out a roast beef and cheese sandwich. Lifting up the first half, he took out a bite… this was his lunch from earlier that he didn’t get a chance to come eat. His eyes glanced over to the little pond feature just as a duck landed upon the water. ”Evening”. He said to whoever was walking up to the bench even though he hadn’t turn to see who it was.
Kody had very sharp instincts and scary observation skills. It was what allowed him to do his former job as well as he did. In his ten years in law enforcement, he had put away and caught an impressive amount of criminals. However a huge cost had been paid and left him unable to go back. A part of it out of fear and partly because he was physically unable. He held out the other half of the sandwich. ”Hungry?”
